and Sung periods.
Aim: The historians of 2016 will create a brochure trying to persuade someone to come visit the Song dynasty.
2. Quick Question: If you were trying to convince someone to come to the United States, what are some things you would tell them about our country?
3. Open the directions for the 'Move to China' poster assignment. After looking at the directions, open up the rubric to see how you will be graded. I suggest that you use Google Docs or Google Draw for this project because you'll be able to complete it even with our school's low bandwidth (internet speed). If you use another tool (Glogster EDU or Prezi) you'll need to make sure you give yourself enough time, since they run a little slower.
4. Begin creating your 'Move to China' poster. Remember, you are trying to convince someone to move to China during the middle ages. Choose one of the dynasties and include information on that dynasty in your poster.
5. Publish your Move to China poster to your portfolio.
Homework: Read about everyday objects and disease prevention in China and complete the corresponding workbook page.
